Five New Chicken Sausage Flavors Launched.

Lynn, MA - Old Neighborhood Foods has launched five new healthy chicken sausage flavors under the Thin 'n Trim brand. The company teamed up with celebrity television chef Rick Tarantino to develop the unique flavor profiles. All are made with a blend of high quality light and dark chicken meat and are low fat and low sodium. The flavors are:
Garden Vegetable - A blend of light and dark chicken with carrots, greens, and other vegetables delivering a clean crisp healthy taste that finishes sweet. - Apple Cinnamon - A sweet/savory combination of chicken with dried apples finishing with a cinnamon flavor, a twist off typical breakfast sausage
- Spinach and Red Onion - Real red onion adds zesty taste and spinach adds many nutrients. The most full-bodied chicken sausage with a very different flavor twist.
- Sweet Italian - A savory sausage with all the traditional 'Italian sausage & peppers' flavor you love - rosemary, thyme, basil – without the fat and cholesterol.
- Hot Italian - Earthy vegetables carry the flavor and roasted red pepper delivers the heat in this fiery sausage infused traditional Italian flavors.
"The low fat, low salt approach is a big trend and a big win in healthy eating. We use all natural ingredients and herbs instead of commercial seasoning that is full of MSGs, diglycerides, and other flavor enhancers. It's all natural in keeping with our tradition," said Tom Demakes, CEO of Old Neighborhood Foods.
